How to Check That a Cross-Chain Swap Arrived
A source-chain success is only the start: check the destination transaction, token and amount to confirm your cross-chain swap reached the right wallet.

1 destination-chain receipt is the clearest proof your cross-chain swap arrived. It records whether the destination network accepted the final transfer and which token contract received it. That check tells you more than a “successful” status on the source chain.
A cross-chain swap starts on one network and finishes on another, so the second leg may take its own time and produce a different transaction hash. If you are still choosing a route, QuickSwap’s three routes for a first move explains the options; once you have sent funds, use the route’s tracker and the destination chain’s explorer to check the result.
Which transaction proves the swap arrived?
The destination transaction proves delivery: look it up on an explorer for the network you selected as the destination. A source transaction marked successful confirms that the source chain processed your send, but the bridge or swap route may still need to complete another step.
Start with the swap or bridge interface’s status page. It may connect your source transaction to a destination transaction, even when their hashes differ. Open that destination hash in the correct chain’s explorer and check that its status says success.
If no destination hash appears yet, the transfer may still be processing. Cross-chain routes can involve confirmations, relayers or liquidity providers before the destination transfer is submitted, so the wait depends on the route and the networks involved.
How do you confirm the token and amount?
Check the recipient address, token contract and amount in the destination transaction. A successful transaction can deliver a different token representation from the one you sent, such as a wrapped version, so compare the contract address with the asset details shown by the route or a trusted token list.
- Confirm the destination network matches the one you selected.
- Check the recipient address is yours, especially if you supplied it separately.
- Verify the token contract, not just its name or ticker.
- Compare the received amount with the quoted output, allowing for stated fees or slippage.
Token names and symbols can be copied by unrelated contracts. The contract address is the stronger identifier. Your wallet may also hide a token until you add it; that does not by itself mean the transfer failed.
What should you do if it has not arrived?
If the destination transaction is pending or absent, check the route tracker for its current stage and any recovery instructions. A source-side success with no destination receipt means the source leg completed, but it does not establish that delivery is finished.
If the route reports failure, use its official recovery process and check the destination explorer before trying again. Do not resend just because your wallet balance has not updated: first confirm the destination address, token contract and transaction status. For most readers, the best proof is a successful destination receipt showing the expected asset at the intended address.
